Apple watch protection case/screen protector

MY watch Is finally shipping. I ordered the stainless steel. I have seen some accounts of the device scratching. not sure if they are reliable so I thought I would go to the forum to see if anyone here has witnessed this on their own devices. Does anyone think a screen protector or case is worth the money. If so could you name what kind is good. I know there aren't many protective cases but just want to make sure that I'm not going to scratch my watch with daily use.

ive tried a couple that i saw on amazon but returned them because they didnt cover the entire screen (42mm) - i have this on order which claims to cover then entire screen

if you search amazon for apple watch screen protectors you will also find cases that cover the edges of the watch

I've had my Sport since Friday, no great effort made to void scratches and no scratches either. I won't be getting a screen protector. It's a watch, I'm going to wear it use it like all my previous watches
